Regional Sales Manager - Eastern US (Remote)
Job Description
Are You Looking to:
Direct, supervise, motivate, lead and support the territory's Manufacturer's Representatives, assigned distributors, and/or various resource employees to ensure territorial and company sales (sales quotas) and other strategic targets are met
Directly interface with key accounts to ensure all product sales potential is being realized and service levels are optimal
Act as a key member of the sales support team for the distribution channel
In conjunction with the rep, bring Product Management and Business Development Managers into targeted accounts to increase our design win potential
Meet with key contract electronics manufacturers (CEMs) to support the rep and to develop new design wins or product substitutions, keeping an eye out for other opportunities to expand the business via upselling and synergy selling
Support and participate in efforts to seek and develop new products and/or new markets
Are You Ready to:
Travel up to 70% of the time, both domestic and international
Work with reps to develop an area business plan with expected revenue and growth targets.
Oversee the development of new customers within the territory. This includes customers new to Bel and/or first sales of products for a Bel division not previously engaged in an existing account
Serve as a source of ideas for, info on parameters of, and a source of industry specifications relative to ongoing collaboration with internal R&D or application engineering in existing and new products
Perform a leadership role in customer audits of the factories and any customer visit
Promote new company products and product programs including trade shows
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business required
3-5 years minimum experience in technical sales and marketing, working with, and supervising, Manufacturer's Representatives and/or direct sales agents
MRP knowledge a plus
Ability to travel 50-70% of the time, both domestic and international
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral
Experience with management of distribution sales channel and providing product training to distribution office and field sales personnel as well as reporting of distribution operations
Experience with conducting field asset sales management includes the setting of goals and objectives for the field deployed selling resources
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
