Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will support real estate attorneys by managing a variety of legal and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and precise documentation. Duties

Assist with drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, transfers, and title reports
Manage project timelines and coordinate multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met efficiently
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files and complete document preparation using real estate management software
Support lawyers and paralegals with data entry, filing, and clerical tasks to keep case files accurate and up-to-date
Prepare summaries of legal documents and assist with document review processes
Conduct interviews with clients, agents, or other stakeholders as needed to gather pertinent information for cases
Experience

Proven administrative experience in a legal or real estate setting with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with software such as LDD, Unity, Cosmolex, and LCC is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to proofread meticulously and maintain high accuracy in document preparation
Experience with project management practices to handle multiple priorities effectively
Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence, summaries, and legal documents
Knowledge of legal drafting standards related to real estate transactions and title work
Proficiency in data entry, filing systems, and clerical procedures including phone etiquette and client communication
