About the role

As part of our Vision 2030 strategy, David Jones is focused on transforming the experiences we deliver to our customers. We are now in the final months of our Chatswood “Store of the Future” refurbishment, which we are excited to unveil in October this year. With a commitment to delivering experiences like no other, and providing world-class services in-store, we have reimagined our fitting rooms, styling suites and beauty rooms. We are now looking for people to bring these experiences and services to life!

We have a range of roles for qualified beauty specialists to provide elevated services in our Store of the Future. As a Counter Manager, you will utilise your expert beauty knowledge and customer service skills to create warm connections on the shop floor, uniting and inspiring your team to create memorable moments for our customers.

Our Counter Managers are customer-obsessed, passionate about collaboration, and take pride in being ambassadors of our iconic beauty houses. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and grow your career with one of Australia's iconic luxury retail destinations.


Responsibilities include

Empower your team to thrive, cultivating a service experience Like No Other.
Share your passion for beauty with our clients and your team, inspiring them with product knowledge and recommendations.
Deliver exceptional, personalised service to achieve commercial objectives.
Coach and mentor your team to help our clients to look and feel their best.
Build an ever-growing base of return clientele through genuine and insightful interactions.

Have experience managing a leading a team.
Have completed a Diploma or Certificate in Beauty.
Have experience working within a customer-centric environment.
Thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.
Have an exceptional service mindset and adaptable communication skills.
Are flexible to work retail hours which includes some late nights and weekends.
