Position Overview The QA & Testing Lead Engineer defines and manages teams, testing strategies, plans and deliverables related to testing within specific applications and programmes of work on a global basis. The QA & Testing Lead Engineer takes a lead role in the establishment or execution of one or more test specialties for a larger testing unit or programme. The QA & Testing Lead Engineer will manage and drive the adoption of recognised best practice and policy and contribute to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets in one or more of the following QA & Testing disciplines: Alternately the Lead QA and Testing Principal Engineer may possess or demonstrate specialist Business Testing knowledge or exceptional business/functional expertise that helps to define and drive the strategic and tactical direction of the testing practice. They will work with the QA & Testing Principal Engineer to ensure delivery of technical/process solutions that adhere to the Bank's standards and industry best practice. Champions and participates in the activities of the broader QA & Testing community. Analyses system requirements and designs suitable automation/performance test strategies.
