The Department of Housing, Addictions and Homelessness is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill a Property Manager position in Swan River or Roblin.

We collaborate with other levels of government, community organizations, and private partners to establish and maintain safe, affordable homes where people can flourish. Manitoba Housing offers vital options for those most in need, addressing housing insecurity and directly managing 12,037 units in 200 communities across Manitoba. Our tenants reflect a rich diversity of backgrounds, including differences in age, education, language, mental and physical abilities, religion, ethnicity, gender, and race. Duties:
Under the direction of the District Manager, the Property Manager ensures the efficient and effective management of assigned Manitoba Housing properties, and is responsible and accountable for all property management functions and activities within their assigned building(s) including: maintenance of buildings and grounds; leasing; vacancy management; tenant relations; and the effective communication between tenants and all other areas of Manitoba Housing. Property Managers are required to travel extensive distances to cover their portfolios, including travel to remote areas and on gravel roads with no cell service available. Property Managers may be required to be available for standby evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. All assigned duties will be carried out in accordance with the policies, procedures and guidelines established by Manitoba Housing, The Residential Tenancies Act and the Residential Tenancies Branch.
