Project Accountant

Job description
Key Responsibilities:

Full-cycle accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Capital Asset operations
Prepare financials for project stage gate governance processes
Work with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and budget management
Perform monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Execute financial tracking through Coupa, ensuring requisitions, POs, and invoices are properly processed


Must Haves:

Self-starter with strong communication skills
Comprehensive understanding of full-cycle accounting
Experience with advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, complex formulas)
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience working with internal and external auditors


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience (up to 8 years)
Familiarity with SOX, GAAP, and Power BI is preferred
Prior experience in project accounting is highly preferred
