POSITION SUMMARY
A Production Supervisor is a key role in our manufacturing and production facilities, reporting directly to the production Manager. The production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process and its production staff. Primary goal is to ensure that production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to meet production targets and quality standards, while providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that all team members perform their tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications and are met, addressing any quality issues promptly and implementing corrective actions.
Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment for all team members. This involves conducting safety training, reporting and investigating accidents, and implementing safety improvements.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure that production goals are met. This includes monitoring and adjusting production processes as needed.
Coordinating equipment repairs and preventative measures with maintenance, to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Monitoring production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and waste, to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity.
Addressing production issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and finding solutions to bottlenecks or delays in the manufacturing process.
Providing training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and overall performance.
Preparing and delivering regular reports on production performance, including progress against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), to upper management.

Education/Skills/Experience:
Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing and production.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes.
Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using production management software and other relevant tools.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing production demands and schedules.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to crouch, bend and kneel, as well as capable of heavy lifting and carrying.
Noisy due to machinery and equipment in operation
Wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety protocols.
