What are your contributions to the team?
Work closely in collaboration with our Industrial Design and Engineering teams to design and manufacture various prototypes of cabinets, mechanisms and other aircraft cabin elements.
Be a stakeholder in research and development activities for the aircraft cabin and participate in the evaluation of materials under development.
Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes.
Make models at various scales with a variety of materials and technologies.
Cut, form and assemble prototypes and models.
Improve designs through a process of iteration, testing and design review.
Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge experience:
You have a technical diploma in aerospace construction, composite material, cabinetmaking or in model making,
You are recognized for your ingenuity, versatility, agility and flexibility
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of cabinet making, composite materials or prototype manufacturing.
You have a proven ability to manufacture and develop prototypes from sketches and renderings.
You are an individual who possesses creativity that is aligned with Bombardier's philosophy of design and innovation: highly innovative and functional and in order to exceed our customers' expectations.
Knowledge of Rhino design software is an asset
You are bilingual in French and in English (asset)
