As a co-op/intern student at BMO, you will have the opportunity to be heard, keep growing and make a difference. You will be part of our campus program to gain the skills and knowledge needed to take on roles similar to the description listed below.


Our student experience is designed to integrate you to the BMO team from day one by adding value in the work you do. You will have the opportunity to participate in programs such as the Women in Technology Mentorship Program, BMO First Friend peer assignment, BMO Social Squad student-led activities, BMO U corporate learning platform and access to various Employee Resource Groups to further develop your network within BMO.

Supports one or more Investment Advisors (IAs) and IA Team and staff, and branch operations with day-to-day administration and provides exceptional client service to support achievement of business objectives.

Maintains and organizes client database and client files.
Develops rapport and instills confidence with the client to develop credibility and promote a positive client experience.
Follows through on the risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure we safeguard our customers’ assets, maintain their privacy, act in their best interests, and ensure an effectively run branch.
Protects the Bank's assets and clients’ assets and complies with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements.
Maintains the confidentiality of client and Bank information.
Completes standardized tasks under supervision.
Performs initial problem solving within given rules/limits escalates when required.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable.
Basic knowledge learned on the job.
Verbal written communication skills - Basic (in business environment).
Organization skills - Basic (in business environment).
Collaboration team skills - Basic (in business environment).
Salary:

$31,600.00 - $41,100.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
