Play and Learn is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Lead Teacher) to join our team in a play-based, nature inspired, early education program. Our ideal candidate will be a nature lover, enthusiastic, and passionate educator who can support young children's play, exploration, inquiry, and creative/critical thinking skills. We are looking for a passionate lead teacher who can focus on creativity and self-expression while exposing our younger students to the natural world. Candidates should enjoy working in a team-approach, with the belief that children deserve to be with adults that live with integrity, honesty and respect for others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Supports families to participate in their children’s educational experiences.
• Accepts constructive suggestions and evaluations conducive to professional growth and contributes constructive and objective suggestions to improve the program as a whole.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BA in Early Childhood, Speech and Language Pathology, Human Development or related field
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience teaching in a child-led learning environment (i.e., Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf)
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Spanish/English Bilingual
