Planning Manager
Town of Awendaw
Salary: $85,000-$100,000

Under limited supervision, the Planning Manager performs a variety of technical and professional duties in support of the town’s planning and zoning. They interpret, monitor, and enforce various applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to planning, zoning, and permitting. The position is responsible for reviewing land use and development plans to ensure conformity with town regulations, providing technical assistance and guidance to elected and appointed officials, responding to inquiries, complaints, and requests for service, and supervising assigned staff. The position is appointed by the Town Council and reports to the Town Administrator.
