Part-Time Teacher Assistant (3-6years old)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational environment by creating nurturing and effective learning skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and experience working with children, particularly in a classroom setting. This role is essential to having good classroom management along with positive and effective communication.

Duties

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes literacy education and personal growth.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment.
Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and engagement in lessons.
Prepare instructional materials and resources for classroom activities.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Skills

Experience working with students in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents.
Ability to educate and engage children through creative lesson planning.
Knowledge of literacy education strategies to support reading and writing development.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is beneficial.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in fostering student growth are essential qualities.
Ability to be flexible and work collaboratively as part of our educational team.
