Outreach Teacher

The Pivot Outreach Programme (POP) is a growing provision which aims to re-engage learners with social, emotional and mental health needs who may have been out of education for some time. Within POP, learners are provided with both academic and pastoral activities, delivered off site, at pupil’s homes and within the POP hub.

Due to the success of the provision, we are growing rapidly and currently seeking a part-time teacher to join the team, teaching learners in Key Stages 3 and 4. As a teacher, you will plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for learners in order to enable them to make progress according to their learning pathways.

Experience of teaching learners with social, emotional and mental health needs or ASC is essential to this role, as is the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with young people, staff, parents/carers and the community. Read more
