Capes India is a premium Indian tech accessories brand built for people who love their gadgets as much as their style. From precision-cut skins for phones, laptops, cameras, tablets, and gaming devices to MagLock wallets, car mounts, cases, sleeves, and charging cables, we create products that make everyday tech look better, feel better, and work smarter.
We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for someone who can shape how Capes shows up across content, campaigns, launches, and brand storytelling.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Brand and Content Strategist who can own the brand’s content direction end-to-end, from campaign thinking and content strategy to ideation, scripting, execution, performance analysis, and iteration.
This role is not just about managing social media. It’s about understanding the brand, the audience, the product, and the market, then turning that understanding into content that builds recall, drives engagement, and supports growth.
You’ll work at the intersection of brand building, social media, short-form video, product storytelling, and performance-led content.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Own the content strategy and calendar across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Build content ideas for gadget skins, MagLock accessories, phone cases, laptop sleeves, mounts, cables, and new product launches
• Develop campaign concepts, launch ideas, hooks, scripts, captions, and storytelling formats
• Create fresh angles for product features, tech lifestyle moments, gadget care, personalization, and everyday use cases
• Write and brief short-form video content including Reels, Shorts, UGC-style ads, founder-led content, and launch teasers
• Work closely with designers, video editors, creators, and internal teams to bring ideas to life
• Support paid campaigns through ad concepts, creative briefs, testing angles, and performance insights
• Track content performance across reach, saves, shares, watch time, CTR, engagement, and conversions
• Use data to understand what worked, what didn’t, and what should be improved next
• Build and maintain Capes India’s brand voice across content touchpoints
• Help shape the founder’s personal brand through sharp, relevant, and authentic content ideas
• Stay updated with tech trends, creator formats, platform shifts, product launches, and D2C content trends
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 1–3 years of experience in brand strategy, content strategy, social media, digital marketing, or a related role
• Strong understanding of short-form video strategy across Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to think beyond posts and build content with a clear brand or business objective
• Strong writing skills for hooks, scripts, captions, campaign ideas, and creative briefs
• A portfolio that shows variety, not just good-looking creatives but content with clear thinking behind it
