The role:
Crown Sydney is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join the Maintenance (Property Services) team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This dynamic role will see you leading and supporting the in-house maintenance teams across the day-to-day operations to ensure that the Sydney property including all plant, equipment and essential building services, operate effectively, efficiently and deliver business continuity, 24/7.
You’ll also play a key role in managing emergency events that may present safety risks to guests and staff, as well as property and asset damage such as fires, floods, building evacuation and other events. As an important leader within the team, your oversight of the team capability, rostering and overall competency of the shift operation will be a critical component to your success.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
Leading your team to deliver business continuity and maintenance excellence, whilst ensuring a high-level of customer service
Support the shift teams looking after Gaming, Food Beverage (FB), Hotel and Wardrobe maintenance services
Coordinating responses and providing technical and procedural direction across teams
Coordinating, implementation, and monitoring of Crown’s safety systems for high-risk work
Issuing permits, conducting audits and inspections
Reporting on non-compliance and monitoring preventive and corrective actions
You’ll have:
Demonstrated experience in an Operational Team Lead or Supervisory role (or be ready to step up)
Experienced and skills in all essential services
Proven leadership skills within building maintenance, emergency
Ability to work over a 24/7 rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
Trade and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
Able to obtain a Casino Special Employee Licence (required Police Check and Credit Check)
