About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Liaison Team working across the Auckland City region.
Welcoming applications from New Zealand Z Registered Mental Health Nurses with Post Graduate Nurse Practitioner certification, a current Annual Practicing Certificates and Level 4 PDRP, alongside NZ Registered Mental Health Nurses eligible to undertake the Nurse Practitioner Training Programme.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Primary Care Liaison is a team of mental health specialists providing care at the interface of primary and secondary to the population of Auckland City.
As Nurse Practitioner you will work as an expert clinician in Mental Health Nursing, your primary focus will be to undertake assessments and brief clinical interventions, you will provide clinical and professional leadership
We are looking for a dynamic clinician who has experience in adult, community work, can provide comprehensive mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence-based treatment strategies, and collaborate with other team members, primary care providers and other services.

About you
You will be committed to the philosophy and concepts of Mental Health Nursing care and meet the below essential requirements for this role:
At least five years’ experience in Mental Health Nursing
Endorsement by the Nursing Council of NZ to practice as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Alignment with the values of Health New Zealand
About to complete Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training or currently qualified
