Position Overview: We are looking for experienced NCEA exam subject tutors to conduct online classes. This role offers the flexibility to teach from anywhere, focusing on helping New Zealand-based students achieve top academic performance while developing confidence.

Job Requirements:

Familiarity with the New Zealand NCEA exam system, particularly in the following subjects (please specify your subject expertise):
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
Mathematics
English
Economics
Accounting
Registered teachers, in-service teachers, or retired teachers are highly preferred
Experience in online teaching and proficiency with platforms such as Zoom
All teaching will be conducted in English

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized online tutoring to help students understand key NCEA concepts and improve their exam results
Develop individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of New Zealand-based students
Assist students in preparing for NCEA exams, offering mock tests and revision materials
Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills in students

Working Conditions:

Flexible online teaching schedule
No geographic restrictions due to the online nature of the role, although students are primarily based in New Zealand
Salary for each lesson ranges from $120-150(Performance-based), which covers lesson preparation, 1.5 hour's teaching and grading assignments.
