National Events Coordinator


The opportunity


As our National Events Coordinator you’ll be joining our National Sponsorship and Events team to support the execution of strategic events and sponsorship activations as well as local initiatives with the aim of enhancing the brand, reputation, and relationships of the firm.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract position based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.


Your key responsibilities


Assist the National Sponsorship and Events Team in organizing and executing a variety of events, including hospitality events, technical and internal office events. And support in arranging virtual events across different platforms.
Provide on-site support for events across the regions including travel as required.
Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Contribute innovative ideas for improving client experiences.

Skills and attributes for success


Excellent written and verbal communication skills allowing you to collaborate and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience in event planning and execution.
Competent in project management and multitasking.
Experience in collaborating with external suppliers (venues, AV, caterers, etc.)

Ideally you'll also have the experiences and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

Familiarity with a CRM system, CVent and an e-marketing tool would be a benefit
A tertiary qualification in event management or a related field
Experience in an event role within professional services or a B2B environment.
