Job Description: Bloomingdale International School in Vijayawada is seeking an experienced and dedicated MYP/DP Chemistry Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and a strong background in teaching Chemistry within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP).

Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons that align with the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with IB curriculum standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school’s science curriculum.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching Chemistry in the IB MYP and/or DP.
• Strong understanding of the IB framework and its implementation in the classroom.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
