Media Sales Strategist

We are currently looking for a Media Sales Strategist to join our Ottawa Sales Team! This position reports to the Ottawa Retail Sales Manager.

Your Day to Day.

· Represent the perennial top two ranked radio stations in Ottawa, Hot 89.9 and LiVE 88.5 as well as the entire stable of 98 Stingray Radio stations from coast to coast.

· Help clients grow and succeed using our world class suite of digital media solutions including: Programmatic Display, Programmatic Video, Streaming Audio, Connected TV, Digital Out of Home, Search, Social, and Stingray’s proprietary Retail Media platform;

· Own the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to performing client needs analysis, presenting solutions, negotiating and execution of closing strategies;

· Drive revenue growth and achieve revenue targets through consultative sales and development of strategic proposals;

· Collaborate with promotions, programming, creative, production and digital campaign managers, to build and support audience based, multi-media advertising campaigns;

· Manage and grow existing client base while prospecting to create new business.

Your Qualifications.

· Experience in Marketing, Sales or Business Management (experience in Multi-Media advertising or digital environments an asset);

· 2+ years of in-person, consultative B2B sales or account management experience;

· Strong track record of achieving and exceeding set targets;

· Excellent communicator, presenter and negotiator;

· Builds strong relationships while maintaining a professional approach at all times;

· Well-organized and accountable with strong time management skills;

· Prioritizes multiple demands in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment;

· Proactively embraces change; is positive, consultative, enthusiastic, and optimistic;

· An Ottawa area resident with a valid driver’s license, use of a vehicle and vehicle insurance.
