Job Title: Independent Math Tutor (Contractor)
Location: Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW (In-Person Tutoring at Client’s Home)

Calibre Tutoring delivers expert math support to K–12 students across the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Our mission is to build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a genuine love of learning. We’re seeking dedicated and skilled tutors to join our team as independent contractors and help students reach their full potential.

Role Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to provide one-on-one, in-person math tutoring sessions at students’ homes in the Eastern Suburbs. While the role is primarily face-to-face, occasional remote sessions may be offered if requested. You’ll be responsible for assessing student needs, preparing personalised lesson plans, and tracking academic progress.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct in-home tutoring sessions in math for students from primary school through HSC.
Tailor lessons to match each student’s level, needs, and learning style.
Monitor student progress and communicate feedback to parents.
Maintain a flexible schedule for after-school or weekend sessions.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong understanding of the NSW math curriculum (Primary, High School, and HSC).
Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly regarded.
Clear communication skills and a passion for education.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own schedule.
Must be available for in-person sessions at student homes in the Eastern Suburbs.
Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
