Marketing/Sales Executive for Power Energy
Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing/Sales Executive role based in Gurugram. The role involves identifying and approaching potential clients in the power and energy sector, presenting company products and services, and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure. The Marketing/Sales Executive will prepare proposals and quotations, follow up on inquiries, maintain accurate records of client interactions, and support contract negotiations. The role includes coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, conducting market research, tracking competitors, and contributing to marketing campaigns and promotional activities. The position requires regular client meetings, reporting on sales performance, and achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and business development abilities, including lead generation, client relationship management, and deal closure in B2B or industrial markets.
• Marketing and communication skills such as market research, preparation of presentations, and participation in promotional campaigns and events.
• Basic understanding of power and energy products or services, with the ability to learn technical concepts and explain them clearly to clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a professional approach to customer service and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM or sales tracking software) for reporting and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, or account management, ideally in power, energy, infrastructure, or related industries, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, travel locally for client visits, and manage time effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
Technical Knowledge
• Basic understanding of DG set capacities (e.g., 15 kVA to 2500 kVA)
• Diesel engines and alternators
• AMF/ATS panels and synchronization systems
• Fuel consumption and load calculations
• CPCB emission norms and industry regulations
