Our highly skilled Communications and Marketing team delivers marketing, communications and community engagement activities, supporting a diverse range of stakeholders and promoting Council's activities, services and projects.
About the role:
We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Officer, Digital to join our team. This position is responsible for the preparing and implementing creative marketing campaigns and concepts to promote a range of activities, services and projects, while being a champion for our brand.
We are looking for an innovative and creative individual that has experience in a range of digital platforms and tools, including social media, websites, analytics and Google platforms.
The successful candidates will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Design, Communications, Digital Media or associated field, and/or extensive relevant job-related experience.
Experience in developing content and campaigns for online, digital, multimedia and social media channels.
Experience with paid peformance ads across social media and Google.
Demonstrated experience providing creative briefs.
Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to write copy to appeal to a range of audiences.
Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Current Class C driver’s licence.
