Role Description The Marketing Communications Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This position is responsible for planning and executing marketing communication campaigns that promote Zimson’s brand, products, and in-store experiences. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and distributing press releases, developing content for digital and print channels, coordinating public relations activities, and supporting brand storytelling across all customer touchpoints. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging, manage media relationships, track campaign performance, and support promotional events and product launches. The role also involves monitoring market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to refine communication strategies and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications for planning and executing integrated campaigns.
Excellent Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication tailored to different audiences.
Hands-on experience creating and managing Press Releases and coordinating media outreach.
Knowledge of Public Relations practices, including relationship building with media, influencers, and partners.
Experience with digital marketing channels (social media, email, website content) and basic analytics tools is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
