Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
· Mastering the knowledge around e-Commerce media and providing insights around off and on-platform digital marketing
· Help build service levers and GTM enablers for agencies
In six months, you would have:
· To work closely with each agency and develop strategic recommendations; independently manage specific services end-to-end
· Identified and action opportunities to grow profitable revenue as well as help structure the team to deliver profitable business in the short, medium and long term.
In 12 months, you would have:
· Accelerate the ecommerce vertical for GroupM Nexus
· Maximize all business opportunities by influencing existing client revenue
Responsibilities of the role:
Service Buildup: Be forward thinking in the expansion of e-Commerce business opportunities, entrepreneurial in mind-set and always thinking of the expansion and engagement of additional or new services for our clients
Client & Agency Management: Enable existing clients’ e-Commerce capability across partnerships and major online marketing initiatives both on-platform and off-platform. Support GroupM agencies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work and identify business opportunities
E-Commerce Strategy: Understand client business objectives and ensure it is translated clearly into e-Commerce strategy. Building short/long-term e-Commerce road map for clients through consulting methodology framework and industry best practices.
Platform Management: Develop effective working relationships with key marketplace platforms to ensure delivery of best in class e-Commerce solutions and recommendations to clients within GroupM
Partner Management: Identify the right partners for applicable services. Build and support vendor relations. Conduct discussions and negotiations with business partners to create new business opportunities or novel solutions to client problems. This would also include working with existing partners to scale up collaboration and jointly work together to identify and capitalize on future opportunities
Project Management: Establish project metrics and timelines and ensure clear communication to ground operations by driving execution at the ground level to ensure project feasibility and success
Capability Building: Act as a primary driver of trainings and learning roadmaps for agency teams
Credibility Building: Generates ongoing demand for expertise through joint GroupM - platform playbooks/webinars/white papers, events and casework
Vertical KPI Reporting: Reviewing, reporting and analyzing key performance metrics
What you will need:
· Overall 3+ yrs years of marketplaces, agency, or Brand KAM experience in e-Commerce with minimum(must) 3-4 years of experience in managing Amazon sponsored ads & Flipkart ads
· Solid understanding of e-Commerce self-serve platforms including tools like Amazon Pi, Drona, Pacvue etc.
· Experience in managing/driving mid to large ecommerce pitches
· Ability to work seamlessly across areas of media and non-media strategy and solutions
· Exceptional planning and organizational skills, ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams and/or third-party partners
· Ability to capitalize on trends and address consumer problems through new solutions
· Experience identifying and addressing gaps in processes and systems to elevate offering, improve consistency and provide best in class delivery
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions
· Structured & analytical thinking
· Go-getter and self-starter attitude
· Able to work independently in a complex and diverse environment.
· Overall experience over 3 + yrs in managing marketplaces ads (Amazon, Flipkart ads, etc.)
