About the Role:
The incumbent would be primarily responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies
that optimize costs, maintain quality standards and mitigate supply chain risks. Procurement of Raw
Material, Packing Material, Revenue items, Gifts Stationaries etc., Also help identify and
evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and establish mutually beneficial relationships to ensure
a reliable supply of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Purchase Strategy.
• Review Process Purchase Orders.
• Maintain records of goods Orders and Received.
• Negotiates Prices Contracts with Supplier.
• Development of Vendor base.
• Build Maintain relationships with Vendors.
• Vendor evaluation based on Quality, Timeliness Price.
• Delivery Schedule fulfilment of Orders.
• Price Service Comparisons of every Order.
• Ensure Quality of procured Items addresses problems when arise.
• Track Inventory restock goods when needed.
• Stay update on Industry trends New Developments.
• Compare available goods with Industry Trends to determine appropriate pricing.
• Knowledge of Coal procurement through General Quota and E-Auction.
• Purchase Planning of Wood Pulp.
• Outsourcing knowledge OTC, Generic Import material.
• Suppliers Payments and invoices processing.
• Planning of Procurement of Raw Material Chemicals Packing Material.
• Evaluate the requirement based on commercial and technical factors.
• Train and supervise the work of other members of staff.
• Knowledge of Statutory Documentation like ISO, GMP etc.,
Pre-requisites
• Knowledge of ERP, SAP, experience of Software Database Purchase.
• Excellent Organizational Communication Skill.
• Negotiation analytical Skill.
• Vendor Management.
• 08-10yrs, preferably in Pharma/FMCG company.
Qualifications And Skills
• Graduate in Commerce/Science
• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration
preferred.
