As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join our central finance team.
About you:
You will bring proven experience in a management accounting role, with excellent attention to detail and very strong analytical skills. You will be a great leader, and have proven experience leading a team to achieve great results.
Key skills and experience;
You will be confident with financial systems (Sage Intacct and/or CoolCare experience desirable but not essential)
· You will have experience supporting with Payroll administration, collation, verification and submission of payroll information.
You will have experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, payment runs, and cashbook maintenance
You will be comfortable in reconciling corporate card and petty cash accounts, with accurate journal posting and attention to detail.
About the role:
Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts for assigned homes and entities
Leading and supporting Assistant Management Accountants
Managing journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers
Performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting year-end audit processes
Overseeing revenue and receivables, including invoice accuracy and reconciliation
Supporting the payroll process and relevant journal postings
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Reviewing expenditure and providing insights to support business performance
This role will also involve working closely with the Financial Administrators in our care homes, offering you valuable exposure across both corporate and operational finance.
