Male Madrasah teacher

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Male Madrasah Teacher to join our team to teach Qur’an (with Tajweed) and Islamic Studies to children aged 5–14 years. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of the Islamic faith according to Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah, with a passion for nurturing Islamic values in the younger generation. Responsibilities Teach children Qur’an recitation with proper Tajweed rules Deliver structured lessons in Islamic Studies covering essential topics such as Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, and Akhlaaq Maintain a nurturing, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment Prepare and plan engaging lessons appropriate to the age and level of the students Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians where needed Work collaboratively with other teachers and the Madrasah management Uphold and promote the teachings of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah in all aspects of instruction and behaviour Requirements Strong Qur’anic recitation with excellent Tajweed Good command of spoken and written English Previous teaching experience in a Madrasah or similar Islamic educational setting preferred Sound knowledge of Islamic Studies in accordance with Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah Passion for working with children and teaching Islamic values Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and professionalism --- Desirable Formal Islamic education and previous teaching experience. DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) First Aid or Safeguarding training (if available)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
