The successful postholder will be appointed as a Lecturer of Music, leading both secondary and primary music education, predominantly working within the secondary ITE team.

The role of lecturer involves being an integral part of the team ensuring provision is to a high-standard and compliant with DfE and OfS requirements. You will contribute to the planning, design and development of modules and programmes and curriculum changes (including adaptions resulting from DfE mandated frameworks) to deliver a range of high-quality teaching materials and associated student assessment activitiesThis can involve module leadership.
You will hold a relevant undergraduate degree with QTS, or PGCE (QTS) with a track record of successful music teaching with secondary age students and the ability to plan and teach primary music education. We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable ability to operate effectively in a demanding environment, which has both academic and professional practice requirements and compliance demands, including internal and external auditing and inspection.
