PPB Analytical Inc. is a leading commercial testing laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate and reliable testing services to our clients in cannabis and environmental sectors. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician with experience in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).

Responsibilities:

Conduct sample preparation and digestion using a variety of techniques, including but not limited to microwave digestion and acid digestion, to prepare samples for ICP analysis.
Perform ICPMS/ICPOES analysis, ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Interpret analytical data and prepare comprehensive reports.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure reliable and consistent results.
Under the guidance of Supervisor, conduct method development and method validation as required.
Execute assigned tasks under the guidance of Supervisor.
Qualifications:

Proven experience with ICP analysis and expert knowledge of various sample digestion techniques suitable for different types of samples.
Proficiency in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) instrumentation and related software (e.g., Agilent).
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for complex data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
Detail-oriented with a great attention for data accuracy and analysis.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
