Kitchen Hand – Part Time / Casual
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at Visy Dior Hotel. A Part Time or Casual opportunity is available.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you will support the kitchen team by assisting with cleaning, basic food preparation, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, benches, and equipment
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation including peeling, chopping, and portioning
Managing rubbish disposal and recycling
Ensuring all cleaning and food handling practices comply with food safety standards (HACCP)
Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as required
Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
About You
Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
Reliable, punctual, and well presented
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
