Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Banquet Chef to lead and manage our banquet kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality food for weddings, corporate events, and social functions while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute banquet menus for events of varying scales and themes
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
Manage kitchen operations during large-scale events and functions
Coordinate with Sales, Events, and Service teams for seamless execution
Maintain food cost control, portioning, and wastage management
Supervise, train, and motivate the banquet kitchen team
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Innovate and introduce new menu concepts, live counters, and themed cuisines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Banquet Chef in a reputed hotel.
Strong knowledge of multi-cuisine (Indian & International) banquet production
Experience handling large-scale events (weddings, MICE, social functions)
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
Experience in luxury or upscale hospitality brands
Knowledge of sustainable and modern culinary trends
