Position Summary
Aburi Hana is seeking a Kitchen Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations by preparing high-quality food while maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. This role is well suited for a dependable, detail-oriented cook with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper food handling in all work areas
Assist with prep, production, and service during busy periods
Support inventory organization and assist with ordering as needed (or willingness to learn)
Perform kitchen steward duties, including cleaning stations, equipment, and work areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated
Lift, move, and organize products and supplies up to 50 lbs
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to assist with or learn ordering and inventory processes
Valid Food Safe certification
Previous Asian cooking experience is an asset, due to ingredients used
Strong work ethic and reliability
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
