The Junior Sales Representative is an entry-level, relationship-focused sales role responsible for supporting revenue growth by managing lead follow-up, client communication, and sales coordination.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and eager to learn consultative selling in a managed services and IT solutions environment, with a focus on understanding client needs and aligning solutions that drive real business outcomes.
This is a salaried position with incentives, offering the opportunity to directly benefit from individual sales performance. The Junior Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth and building long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound sales leads
Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals
Book qualified appointments for senior sales or technicians
Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-ups
Document all activity in company systems
Represent Reality Bytes professionally
Respond promptly to inbound leads and client inquiries
Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand client needs, size, and urgency
Book meetings and check-ins with decision makers
Deliver quote follow-ups and maintain warm client communication
Re-engage stalled or inactive opportunities
Coordinate with Procurement and IT specialists for solution design and pricing
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a sales, customer service, or customer-facing role (B2B preferred; equivalent experience considered)
Comfortable with cold calling, outbound prospecting, and follow-up as part of daily activities
Strong ability to qualify prospects, identify decision-makers, and assess client needs
Experience preparing or assisting with quotes, proposals, or pricing discussions
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking to business owners and managers
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously
Comfortable working toward sales targets, KPIs, and incentive-based goals
Basic proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or similar sales tools
High level of professionalism, reliability, and follow-through
Self-motivated and resilient; able to handle rejection and stay positive
Coachable and open to feedback with a desire to grow a career in sales
Strong listening skills with a consultative, solution-focused approach
Detail-oriented with accurate record keeping and follow-up
Team-oriented, yet comfortable working independently
Interest in technology or IT services is a strong asset (training provided)
Post-Secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field is an asset
