JOB SUMMARY: Installs, administers, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and consults on the usage of all enterprise level and internally developed applications as assigned. Functions in the capacity of the Operations Supervisor in his absence.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: HS Diploma or GED required. AS degree in Information Technology required. BS degree in Information Technology highly preferred. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification required, or significant progress toward obtaining the certification and the ability to obtain it within 18 months of hire. Minimum 3 year experience installing, administering, troubleshooting and repairing enterprise level applications and systems. Point of Sale (POS) system and Gaming system experience highly preferred. IBM iSeries, Infinium, and MMS experience highly preferred. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree at the ratio of 2 years of experience for each year of education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual and finger dexterity for operations of personal computer, basic hand and power tools, and completion of routine paperwork. This position is subject to frequent sitting, intermittent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally involves working in confined spaces. High energy casino environment involves frequent exposure to bright lights, smoke, and noise.

Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytic and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently. Ability to prioritize work, remain focused, and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to sensitive business and personnel information. Advanced knowledge of client/server application models and systems to include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Advanced knowledge of AS/400 based applications. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and come to sound conclusions. Ability to effectively use standard IT test equipment and hand tools. Advanced understanding of IT operations, policies, and procedures. Possess strong customer service skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III A gaming license.

Administers and ensures the proper maintenance of the Casino’s enterprise software and associated systems, services, and equipment.
Monitors and adjusts system components to ensure peak operating performance, and data integrity.
Optimizes enterprise level applications for maximum functionality and flexibility within the scope of the systems operational parameters and capabilities.
Maintains system security and integrity, and participates in ongoing and periodic audit processes as related to key business systems.
Follows system maintenance procedures and management plans to ensure maximum system uptime, reliability, and security.
