Job Description
Opening for IT Business Analyst( Treasury - calypso) for Mumbai Location in a leading Bank.
Employment Type : Full-Time
Location : Kolkata (Head Office) Department: Information Technology
Reporting : - To Head - IT BRM
Minimum Experience : 8-10 years of Banking experience with at least 2-experience in IT company or associated with IT/project department of Bank.
Role Description :
- Understanding on Treasury Products used by banks for money market borrowing (where products like Call/Notice/Term borrowing, IBPC Inter Bank Participation Certificate), Repo, Foreign Currency Borrow/Lend, PSLC etc.), SLR and Non-SLR security, forex and derivatives products etc..
- Good understanding on different trading platforms used for different treasury products like CCIL, Bloomberg etc.
- Understanding on the methods applied for dealer wise limit tracking and P&L, NOOP reporting, Counter party limit, Nostro reconciliation etc.
- Knowledge on Export packaging credit and foreign exchange business generated due to export packaging credit and documentary credit business.
- Hands-on experience in Treasury applications like Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, etc.
- Understanding on the SWIFT application and Category 3 message formats.
- Understanding of core banking, surround apps like digital banking etc.
- Good understanding in Book Keeping, General Ledger, Trial Balance and relevant logics of accounting standards followed in Banks.
- Sound knowledge on Regulatory circulars on Foreign trades and Foreign exchange remittances and trading.
- Good understanding on the Core Banking application used by Banks and its role, along with peripheral systems like Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Desk, UPI, IMPS, Debit Card etc. from the functional perspective.
- Document the Business requirements and enter into a discussion with the in-house and external software developer to create the solution.
- Effective communication and understanding ability to add value in the discussion between IT vendor and business users.
- Effective negotiation skills to negotiate and take the business requirement to closure.
Qualifications :
- BE/MCA/MBA/Post Graduated/CA/ICWA Certification/diploma in the area of Business Analysis, Quality Analyst, relevant banking domain etc. will add value.
