Intermediate Production Accountant

Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production
company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development,
production and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

We are currently looking for a Intermediate Production Accountant to join our Team on a full-time
basis. The candidate will perform the production accounting for gas plants, oil facilities and
associated wells within Alberta.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-cycle production and revenue accounting for operated and non-operated gas plants,
oil facilities and associated wells.
Well, royalty, market master, facility charges and other master data set-ups in Metrix.
Recording cost allocations to wells for trucking, treating and any other charges.
Reconciliation of revenue receivable accounts and volume variances.
Government regulatory and internal reporting.
Knowledge source for the desk and properties.
QUALIFICATIONS

5 years’ experience in production accounting.
Prior experience with operated and non-operated gas plants and oil facilities.
Previous experience with Metrix, ProdView, Pro-Monitor, Pro-Tend and LandRite would be
an asset.
Strong working knowledge of Excel – pivot tables, lookups and other advanced functions.
Team oriented individual with a willingness to pitch in whenever and however possible.
Can work independently in high volume and fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and an appreciation for tight deadlines.
Business degree and\or CAPPA would be an asset.
