Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer located in Hamilton, ON. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating and reviewing design drawings, selecting and specifying colours, textures and design pallets, and collaborating with our carpenters, on-site painters and project managers. The day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to determine their needs, developing design concepts, and overseeing project executions to ensure alignment with the established design vision. As an Interior Designer, you will develop comprehensive interior and kitchen design concepts that satisfy client objectives and project requirements, within the specified budget of each client.

This role has the possibility of leading to a senior designer position, with an ever-expanding, well-established company.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
• Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
• Proficiency in creating and reviewing Design Drawings
• Experience with Architecture and understanding architectural principles (preferred)
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, carpenters, painters and design team
• Experience working with SketchUp, Enscape and/or 2020 Design
• Familiarity with high-end product vendors and suppliers
• Excellent knowledge of design trends, with the ability to draft, sketch and render designs
• Experience in sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet sales goals
• 1-2 years experience as an Interior Designer (preferred)

• Familiarity establishing and maintain strong working relationships with various vendors and suppliers

• Creates detailed drawings, floor plans and 3D renderings to visually communicate design ideas
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• G licence with access to a reliable vehicle

Pay: $42,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
