Yellowknife Education District No. 1 invites applications for the following position:


High School Foods Teacher

Ecole Sir John Franklin High School

Full Time (100% FTE)

One Year Term

2025/2026 School Year


Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree, a NWT Teacher Certification and :


Training and/or experience in Culinary Arts, Foods, etc.

Ability to differentiate to diverse needs in the classroom

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Experience teaching at the High School level would be considered an asset
