Project: This is a value homes/residential project - 2 phased construction.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Assisting with the management system to ensure that the requirement of ISO +001, ISO 14001, ISO 41001 (OHSAS 18001) for the client’s account are met.
• Liaising with the document management team to ensure an appropriate document control regime is in place.
• Overseeing the internal quality audit programme.
• Managing the programme of education and awareness for quality health, safety and environmental management.
• Identifying, managing and delivering appropriate training on quality and Health and Safety when required.
• Managing and reporting all Health and Safety incidents in line with Mace Macro Yellow Jacket requirements and with the client’s Health and Safety service schedule.
• Providing quality and Health and Safety input to management reports.
• Advising on progress to quality and Health and Safety targets.
• Providing Health and Safety leadership and establishing commitment by promoting best practices.
• Chairing meetings for the local Health and Safety advisory group and fire safety team.
• Ensuring that processes needed for the Health and Safety management system are established, implemented and maintained.
• Reporting the performance of the Health and Safety system and any need for improvement to the regional health and safety manager.
• Supporting and advising with regard to conducting accident, incident and dangerous occurrence investigations and cause analyses in line with the Health and Safety service schedule.
• Reviewing accident and incident statistics, identifying trends and recommending preventive and corrective action in line with the Health and Safety service schedule.
About You
You will have a degree qualification or diploma in safety and a member of a professional body.
You are digitally savvy can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience and certificates in EHS. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have previous working experience on construction projects and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer
