Position Overview
Job Title: Hadoop / Google Cloud Developer - Associate
Location: Magarpatta, Pune, India
Role Description - Summary:
This role is for Engineer responsible for design, development, and unit testing software applications. The candidate is expected to ensure good quality, maintainable, scalable, and high performing software applications are delivered to users in an Agile development environment. He / She should be coming from a strong technological background. The candidate should have experience working in Google Cloud Platform. Should be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance. Should be able to technically guide and mentor junior resources in the team. As a senior developer you will bring design and development skills to enforce the group of developers within a team. The candidate will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank’s digitalization journey.

Your Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
• Hand on experience on GCP with Cloud Composer, Big Query, Pub/Sub, Cloud DataFlow, Cloud DataProc and Cloud Storage
• Good Understanding of networking and native monitoring services
• Experience of using CI/CD and DevOps tools – GitHub, Terraform, Artifactory
• Experience on GKE and Cloud Secret Manager for hosting FE app.
• Working on to migrate existing on perm applications to Cloud, Big Query.
Your skills, experience, and qualification:
• Has strong experience with Python or Java
• Has strong experience with SQL
• Hands on experience in Google Cloud Platform using following GCP services
• BigQuery
• Dataflow
• Cloud Functions
• Dataproc
• Cloud Composer/Apache Airflow
• Google Transfer Service
• Good knowledge and preferably hands-on experience on Bigdata technologies like
• HDFS
• Spark (Core/Pyspark)
• Hive
• Hands on experience working with APIs and microservices, integrating external and internal web services including SOAP, XML, REST, JSON
• Has experience in providing highly available and fault tolerant applications utilizing orchestration technologies like Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure as a part of Dev-ops. Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes and write build and deployment scripts.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Good communication skills
• Pro-active team player
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams
• Professional knowledge of English
