Range Lake North School

Full-time Term (100% FTEQ)

2025/2026 School Year


Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree and eligibility for NWT Teacher Certification. Preference will be given to candidates who also have:


strong classroom management skills
excellent communication skills
experience teaching in multi grade level classroom
experience with or interest in inquiry based learning
ability to support social and emotional needs of students
understanding of self-regulation and co-regulation and what that looks like in a classroom setting
strong collaborator
willingness to embrace technology as a tool to enhance learning

Candidates must have an original acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) in place. The original VSC must be dated within +0 days of the date the application is received. This is a condition of employment, and must be in place prior to commencing work in any school.
