Job Summary

We are now inviting applications for a friendly and social Food Beverage Duty Manager to oversee daily shift operations and staff supervision in the Deco lounge. Responsibilities include promoting the lounge, menu planning, maintaining standards, assisting servers during peak periods, and managing liquor inventories. The role focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, legal compliance, and training, while also assisting in other outlets when needed. Additionally, you will respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements, set up banquet areas/rooms, ensure cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment, inspect and maintain table setups for cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with group requirements and company standards, and resolve any problems. You will also document pertinent information in the appropriate department logbook.


About You

Experience working in a similar position in a luxury hotel or hospitality venue.
Experience in dealing with bookings using reservation booking software
Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
Passion and knowledge about food beverage products
Excellent communication skills with warm personality both in person and via mail
Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
Valid DofoodSafely Certificate
Full working rights in Australia
Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
