Fashion Designer

We are seeking an experienced, creative fashion designer for the SATTVA Women Tailor Collective, that specializes in handcrafted accessories and well-crafted products using recycled fabric and handwork

The candidate has to be hands on, with good knowledge of sewing, pattern making, accessory design, product specification, procurement and merchandising, proficient in CAD, illustrator, and should work closely with tailors to innovate new product designs and oversee production.

Roles Responsibilities:

· Candidate should lead the design process from concept to ideation to final execution, creating original designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and market positioning.

· Candidate should take proactive efforts to conduct trend research and analysis to identify emerging trends in textiles, fashion, color, and design, and incorporate findings into concepts

· Candidate should be conversant with all aspects, source material, create samples, train tailors, manage production and ensure the end to end production of quality products at lowest cost as per market trends

· Candidate should ensure the punctuality of trainees and ensure increase in productivity

· Candidate should provide guidance and mentorship to trainees, fostering a collaborative and a supportive team environment.
