To support our mission, we’re seeking a fixed term Facilities Operator to join our Whangārei Cleaning team and help make a real difference in our community on a part time basis!
What does a Facilities Operator do, you ask?
As a Facilities Operator, you’ll be a versatile team member with your key responsibilities being the rubbish bin run, driving our tipper truck to collect roadside rubbish. You’ll also assist with illegal dumping, graffiti removal.
This is a 3 month fixed term position as operational demands increase so will the availability of shift for you to take. The role can involve early starts 04:00am to 12noon during the weekend.
What we're looking for:
Reliability and Dependability: A proven track record of being punctual, responsible, and consistent in work performance
Full Driver’s Licence with Manual Capability: Essential for driving the tipper truck and confidently handling work-related driving tasks
Physical Fitness and Stamina: Able to perform hands-on tasks, including rubbish collection and manual labour, as the role involves physical work
Flexibility: Comfortable with early starts, varied schedules, and occasional weekend work
Commitment to Health and Safety: Understands and follows safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
