We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources team in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
About the Role
The HR Manager will report directly to the [management] and will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives;
• Leading the HR department to achieve outstanding results in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention;
• Maintaining open communication channels with employees, management, and external stakeholders;
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations;
• Providing expert advice on HR-related matters to senior management;
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic HR Leadership: Lead the HR department, aligning workforce strategy with company goals.
• Protocol Political Coordination: Manage HR-side coordination for events involving ministers, MLAs, and other dignitaries.
• Recruitment Onboarding: Hire specialized staff for political and public sector events.
• Compliance Legal Liaison: Ensure company and staff compliance with local government regulations during political events.
• Event Staffing Deployment: Oversee manpower planning for political rallies, inaugurations, foundation-laying ceremonies, and government-sponsored events.
• Performance Conduct Management: Set strict codes of conduct for employees interacting with politicians or media.
• Liaison with Local Authorities: Build strong relationships with police, GHMC, and political liaisons.
• Security Safety: Work with event security teams to enforce safety measures for VIP attendance.
• Discretion Crisis Management: Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
• Employee Welfare in High-Pressure Events: Ensure adequate rest, welfare, and protection for staff working long hours in political events.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the event management industry;
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile events and maintaining confidentiality;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications;
• Certifications in HR management, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, are an asset.
