Full job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting and working with the Foundation Staff in the office and helping plan, coordinate, implement, support and execute new existing fundraising events, direct mail/advertising campaigns, and other fundraising opportunities, to ensure they run smoothly and meet the TriState Health Foundation objectives and strategic goals. They should be knowledgeable in aspects of the nonprofit event like logistics coordination, volunteer management, cause advocacy, community engagement, and compliance. Must be able to work some nights and weekends as needed.
Coordinating aspects of the event, including but not limited to:
Logistics - Selecting venues, scheduling speakers, and managing the event planning process
Budgeting - Determining costs, negotiating for better rates, and keeping event plans on schedule and within budget
Vendor management - Researching, choosing, and supervising vendors, and arranging onsite vendors, know auction database management or have an understanding of event technology
Coordination – Coordinating event committee meetings, recruiting members, scheduling and planning meetings, and various elements of the event, such as catering, decor, and entertainment
Communication - With the Foundation Staff and different stakeholders before and during the event, communicating effectively, and working closely with Marketing in promoting, social media, and communication.
Other tasks - Anticipating and planning for potential emergencies, procurement for auctions (Live Silent, raffle items) creating financial reports, managing staff volunteers, and delegating tasks

Education and Training:
BA recommended. Experience in planning and organizing events, budgets, public relations, marketing or related field preferred.
