Position: Partner and Event Marketing Specialist
We are searching for a Partner and Event Marketing Specialist to join our vibrant Marketing team. This pivotal role reports to the Strategic Partnership Manager and involves fostering and managing our relationships with essential partners, including Bar and legal associations, affiliates, and influential industry figures. You will utilize these partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive demand for our innovative products through impactful events and media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate and manage relationships with state and regional Bar and legal associations by driving communication and programming to enhance member awareness and product utilization.
• Oversee the planning and execution of event sponsorship and marketing initiatives (e.g., Bar conferences, trade shows) to boost our product visibility.
• Collaborate in developing and executing joint educational programming (e.g., webinars, CLEs, events) with key partners to articulate the advantages of our software solutions.
• Participate in various affiliate programs, including affiliate marketing, referral programs, and the Preferred Partner directory.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales) to ensure the delivery of necessary materials for partner and affiliate marketing initiatives and events.
• Manage campaign/event budgets with accurate forecasting and expense tracking.
• Represent the company as a thought leader at both in-person and virtual industry events.
• Travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects while effectively communicating with the Strategic Partnerships Manager, VP of Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in utilizing quantitative metrics to assess partnership opportunities and inform decisions.
• Strategic thinker with the capability to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities that drive product demand.
• Executive presence suitable for establishing the company as a thought leader at industry events.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to develop deep relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Resourceful, with a creative approach to achieving results within limited resources.
• Adaptability to accommodate shifting priorities and evolving partner relationships.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, affiliate marketing, strategic partnerships, and/or event marketing, preferably in a technology/SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in project management, including asset creation, delivery, and budget oversight.
• Familiarity with working alongside copywriters and designers to create compelling marketing and sales materials.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and organizational capabilities are essential.
