We are an independent, global, one-stop-shop focused on delivering Central Laboratory Services that are tailor-made, timely and flexible to meet the evolving study demands of traditional to increasingly complex trials. Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.

Job Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for all details regarding the support, coordination, and implementation of domestic and international tradeshows, office openings, and VIP customer events. Under the direction of leadership, this role will be primarily responsible for owning event contacts, logistics, vendor management, sales awareness and successful lead capture.

Additionally, for most if not all events the Event Manager will be expected to be in attendance to ensure the success of the event, safety and compliance is adhered to and troubleshoot any issues that may arise to ensure clients have engaging experience.
Partners with Marketing team members and internal colleagues on a regular basis, ensuring employees are informed of upcoming events, and are ready to participate.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute events from conception to completion.
Develop event budgets and ensure cost-effective management.
Coordinate with global vendors, suppliers, and venues.
Oversee event logistics, including catering, staff briefings, staff passes.
Manage staff booth assignments and delegate responsibilities.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Handle unexpected challenges and problem-solving during events.
Evaluate event success and provide post-event Salesforce reports for ROI.
Negotiate terms, payments and contingencies.Schedule leadership for any keynotes, and review presentations to ensure accuracy, messaging and company branding.
Additional responsibilities and duties as necessary or as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field is requiredBachelors degree preferred in 3-5 years of Events related experience, including overseas tradeshows, and vendor negotiations
Required Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Experience in event planning, hospitality, or marketing.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Proficiency in event management, Microsoft Office software Conflict resolution and professionalism skills with clients, vendors and team members.
Language Ability must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals is needed.
The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public is also necessary.
The ability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts.
Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems, balances multiple tasks simultaneously, and makes rapid decisions regarding administrative and executive issues.
Must display excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Computer Skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, word processing software, spreadsheet software, accounting software and database software.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
