Event Operations Group are looking for a vibrant and energetic Event Coordinator to lead a team at some of Australia's most spectacular sporting, music, food wine festivals, and motorsport events.

This is a fixed term position through until May 2026.

As an Event Coordinator, you will be based mostly onsite working hand in hand with clients on a daily basis to deliver world class events.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Facilitating workflow for the event labour team and host daily start-up meetings.
Supporting the Workforce Coordinator with rostering and recruitment.
Enforce OHS practices, putting safety at the forefront.
Logistical planning, including ensuring the team have the resources to complete their job.
Liaising with the client and stakeholders in the planning phases and throughout the event build - start to finish.
Completing job tracking.
We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills:

A strong sense of pride in the work and presentation of events.
Ability to be hands on and install and remove event infrastructure.
Proven ability to manage and mentor staff.
The capacity to implement and manage site compliance considering health, safety, and environmental facets of each event.
Respond in a professional manner to correspondence, emails, phone calls or requests in person and liaise with clients, crew, performers, suppliers, contractors, and other parties as required.
Strong Admin experience.
A willingness to work over weekends, public holidays and to travel interstate when events are on.
Qualifications Experience:

Construction Induction Card
First Aid Certificate
Full Australian Manual Driver’s Licence
Event or facility management experience
Hands on experience with a trade
Forklift/EWP ticket
Candidates must hold or be willing to acquire a Working with Children's Check and Police Check
